About Owner, Carolyn Crews Pope
Carolyn Crews Pope is the owner of Crews Jewelry, and has been in the jewelry industry for over 35 years. She has certification in diamond grading from the Gemological Institute of America and is a Certified Senior Management Professional through Jewelers of America.
Carolyn has served on the Missouri Jewelers and Watchmakers Association Board of Directors since 1987 and in 1993 she became the first woman president to represent Missouri. In 1995 she was elected to the Jewelers of America Board of Directors. After holding offices on the Executive Board, in 2001 she became the first woman in it’s almost 100 year history to serve as Chairman of the Board. She has also served on the National Board of Jewelers for Children, a group responsible for raising money annually to serve the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Pope has been very involved in her community, by serving over 20 years on the Board of Directors of the Grandview Chamber of Commerce.
